Photos: Landscapes – Morecambe

Whilst in the process of considering coastal locations for my NMP, I decided to visit a defined example of an marine area in the North West, Morecambe.

Within this shoot, I looked for distinct features or visual elements that stood out to me or represented a sense of place. One of the most apparent elements that emphasised this was the quantity of boats that were tied here as well the features associated with them (buoys, anchors, usage). Many of these features added a dynamic within the frame that complemented the tones and colours of the image.

This was reinforced further through the pleasant lighting conditions that were available to work with, often allowing for gentle silhouettes to form the backdrop.

Overall, I believe that this was a successful shoot for developing landscape images.

I will update my progress.
